Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping (Australia) 

  • Our standard shipping policy is $5 flat rate shipping for orders under $50 and free shipping for orders over $50. 
  • We cannot send products to PO Box or Parcel Locker addresses. Please ensure you provide a residential address. 
  • All orders are shipped using StarTrack and dispatched from our warehouse in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. We reserve our rights to use other carriers from time to time.
  • All items are fully trackable from start to finish and we will even make sure you receive email notifications along the way. 
  • Please allow up to 7 days for delivery as delivery times vary depending on your location and shipping delays. 
  • If you are shipping a returned item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.  

  

International Shipping (New Zealand Only)

  • All orders are shipped using TNTt and dispatched from our warehouse in Brisbane, QLD, Australia. Freight charges are calculated at the checkout. 
  • All items are fully trackable from start to finish and we ensure you receive email notifications along the way. 
  • We aim to have your order processed, picked, packed and dispatched within 2-4 business days, however, please allow up to 14 days for delivery as delivery times vary depending on your location. 
  • Although charges do not always occur, any customs or import duties charged once the parcel reaches its destination country must be paid and is the responsibility of the receiver. 
  • More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office. 
  • You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Returns & Exchanges 

You have 30 days since your purchase to return your order. Beyond 30 days, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund or exchange. There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable). To be eligible for a return, we require proof of purchase and your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it and it must be in original packaging. We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. To exchange it for the same item, contact adventure@tredoutdoors.com  

Once your return is received and inspected, we will email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment. Please note sale items cannot be refunded.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers, magazines, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases cannot be returned.

 

Additional non-returnable items: 

  • Gift cards 
  • Downloadable software products 
  • Some health and personal care items 
  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error 
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery 

  

Late or missing refunds 

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please check your bank account immediately prior to contacting us. Be sure to contact your credit card company and your bank as it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. If you have still not received your refund after following the steps above, contact us at adventure@tredoutdoors.com 

  

Gifts 

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. Proof of purchase is still required, you will need to obtain this from the gift giver.

 

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver, and they will find out about your return.
